On Saturday 26th July, the WORKING WOMEN'S COMMITTEE will host their annual fundraiser which is always dedicated to an organization in our community or a cause in the Caribbean.

This year the committee is excited to raise funds for the Cultural Academy of Excellence.  The Cultural Academy for Excellence (CAFE) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Prince George’s County, Maryland. CAFE began in 1996 with a grant from the Kaiser Permanente Building Hope Foundation. Their purpose is to provide our youth with the needed tools to activate their highest potentials, through academic, artistic, and cultural means.  This year they have felt the “whip lash” from cuts to federal dollars in Maryland.
