This compelling film chronicles the journey of groundbreaking Trinidadian steelpan ensemble, PANAZZ and it captivated audiences to win the People's Choice Award at the 2023 Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival.

The documentary will be featured as the opening film at AFI's DC CaribbeanFilm Fest on Friday th June at 7:00pm.  Listen to the interview below.

CARNIVAL CORNER

  • Known as the ‘Greatest Show on Earth’, Trinidad and Tobago’s Carnival  (Visit the Website)  is an annual event held on the Monday and Tuesday before Ash Wednesday in twin island state of Trinidad and Tobago. The event is well known for participants' colorful costumes and exuberant celebrations. There are numerous cultural events such as fetes, Steelband Panorama, King & Queen Of The Band Shows and Soca & Calypso contests in the lead up to the street parade on Carnival Monday and Tuesday.
